This website contains content and tasks associated with metalshop safety and skills. It also contains all the information needed to complete the prescribed project for this term. Visiting this page will occur often throughout the term and will help you build on the skills and theoretical knowledge you obtained in year 9. This website will be balanced

At this stage the teacher will divide the class into groups, each group will start at a different stage of construction/process to ensure there is enough space and tools for everyone. Depending on the group you're assigned to you must head to the page describing that process and complete the prescribed task before commmencing the practical work of that process.

Unit Rationale: Within this unit this unit students will develop an understanding of related work environments and Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) matters. The prescribed project will also assist students in developing a range of skills through the use of tools, materials and techniques employed in the planning, development, construction and evaluation processes.
